Reflecting on International Day of the Boy Child 2025: TEC Reaffirms Commitment to Raising Compassionate and Responsible Young Men
On the occasion of the 2025 International Day of the Boy Child, Tabitha Empowerment Centre (TEC) proudly joined the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, alongside other distinguished stakeholders, for a one-day mentorship event dedicated to celebrating the strengths, addressing the challenges, and amplifying the unique experiences of boys across the globe.
Representing TEC at this important gathering was one of our committed Community Champions from the Jikwoyi community in Abuja. As a direct beneficiary of TEC’s mentorship and empowerment programs, he joined fellow participants to gain valuable insights that will shape his personal development and strengthen his contributions to nation-building.

At TEC, we believe that empowering boys with the right tools, guidance, and values is essential to raising a generation of compassionate, respectful, and responsible men. As we reflect on this year’s theme, we are reminded of the importance of intentional investment in the potential of every boy—ensuring they are seen, heard, and supported.
Together, let’s continue to uplift the boy child, providing safe spaces, mentorship, and opportunities that help them grow into positive role models and change-makers within their communities.
